I've recently been wanting to cut my hair and thus, I've been fawning over pictures of Taraji P. Henson at the Oscar's. The cut is dynamic! But as you've come to know this isn't a hair blog. Ms. Henson rocked that hair like nobody's business but she also flaunted some major rocks around her neck. The statement necklace is bold, beautiful, and chic. I prefer a statement necklace with a solid colored outfit of simple print because the necklace shouts from the collar. There's lots of them on eBay and if you pick up this month's People Style Watch they burst off the colorful pages. I'm keeping my eye out for the perfect one while I'm here in Missouri, but when I get home to Texas it's straight to my grandmother's vintage and costume jewelry collection I go! Amethyst! Ruby! Jade! She has 'em all and I'll be just like a kid in a candy shop just as soon as you can say, "Welcome to the Lone Star State!"
